It's A GIRL!!!

It's A GIRL!! Surprise, surprise! Kaiya is so excited to be getting a little sister. We have not thought of any names, but will let you know as soon as we decide (that may take place at the hospital). I am 21 weeks along, our baby is the length of a banana and I'm right on target for my due date (April 5th). I wish I could say that the morning sickness has eased up, but unfortunately it has not. I feel the baby move more and more each day and I'm excited to have the kids feel it move as it get's bigger. I'm now advancing to the next size up in maternity clothing. All I can say is, "bring it on"!!

Kathy Having Fun on Halloween!

I couldn't resist doing a little something for Halloween. I really missed not having my families big Halloween bash this year (due to me not feeling all that great). Our ward had a trunk-or-treat and they were giving out prizes for costumes. I was shooting for "the most disturbing". If you zoom in on the photo you will see baby body parts sprouting out of my belly. It was a great laugh for everyone. The orange eyes were the best. Psycho Prego Witch!!! Hope you all had a great Halloween. I almost topped off my pillow case with candy this year! I hope for it to happen atleast once in my lifetime (It would be a great story to share about the Halloween of 2008). Ha! :)

Happy Halloween!

Naratao!

Nerd Boy!

Barbie/Sleeping Beauty! (depending on her mood)
After a much to do this week with costume preparations the boys were sent off to school for the unveiling of their characters! Tenne is a ninja named "Naratao". It's a cartoon that he loves. If you didn't know Tenne loves Halloween because he can transform into a character for the day. As we all know, Easton loves to make people laugh so he thought it would be funny to be a nerd. His photo's make me laugh! Kaiya of course wanted to have long flowing hair and believe she is a true princess (even though we know she is). We hope you all have a FUN Halloween! Good luck gathering candy tonight. I hope to top off my pillow case this year (a childhood dream I have always been trying to accomplish).

My Little Helper!

Teepa was such a great help around the house today. She has taken an interest to moping. This is now her weekly chore she has to get done before she can go out and play. She is very detailed about the job. She made sure to back track and lick the floor dry to make sure it had an extra shine. Thanks for the help Teepa!

Go UVU!!

It's been a beautiful weekend here in Provo. The UVU Wolverines won the United Soccer Confrence regular season Championship with a 3-0 win against Longwood University. The Wolverines were undefeated in confrence play and are having the best season in school history with a 10-5-1 record! (10 wins, 5 losses, 1 tie) There is one more home game for the season this Monday, and then they are off to Virginia Oct.31-Nov. 4th to try and take the Conference Tournament Championship. We would like to thank Brent's #1 fans (his parents) for attending home games this season. Go Wolverines and go Coach Anderson!

October 12th in Utah!

We woke up this morning to 2-4 inches of snow! Should we be surprised? It's Utah! Our heater is officially programed to be on, and the electric blankets are plugged in for the evenings. The weather officials said that we were going to have an early winter....and what do you know. I guess Trick-or Treating will consist of bundling up in coats and gloves this year. Kaiya was the only trooper to go out and play in the snow first thing at 9 am. I think she ate as much as she could off of the trampoline. She loves the snow. She thought for sure that we were having Christmas that day.

Pumpkin Time!

We went to a local home here that sells pumpkins every year in their front yard. I think they are the most cost efficent and best pumpkins in town. It's run by a cute little old farmer who takes great pride in his patch. It's a very simple set up with piles marked with $1, $2, & $4. The way I like to shop. Picking a pumpkin is a very serious and personal thing with my kids I guess. It only took us about 30 minutes or more for each of them to decide which one was going home with us. I think Kaiya thinks they are real people. She carries her all over with her and shows it off to all of her friends. This year is the "small green" pumpkin theme for her. Yes, Tennessee has braces, and the boys are growing their hair long. Tenne likes that he can now shake his hair and feel it move back and forth. Today was school picture day. Yikes....it sure will be a great photo to remember, because their hair is in the " in-between" stage. Easton likes to comb his hair straight up after he takes a shower. He looks like a porcupine. It's pretty funny. Happy October to everyone!

13 Weeks!

I'm finally to my 3 month marker, but still sick as ever. Our baby is the size of lime, but my belly is the size of a soccer ball. It's amazing how fast your belly grows after you have already had 3 kids. We will find out the sex of the baby in November. For now we have heard the heart beat and all seems to be well.

Puppy "Teepa"!

Okay, I know I should be posting photo's of my kids, but we really haven't been doing much lately. This is "Teepa". She is now 12 weeks old (as old as my pregnancy). She has grown alot since the last photo's I posted. You can see that we buy the teeny tiny bones (it's pretty cute). She has pretty much mastered potty training outside. She is always looking for an opportunity to sit on someone's lap and the kids maul her and she LOVE's it (good thing). I have finally reached the 12 weeks (3 months) of pregnancy. I am still in pretty bad shape. Throwing up has become a mastered art. Brent is on the road alot with soccer right now, and boy....do I have the most amazing support here in my ward. This past week I had 3 meals brought in, my bathrooms cleaned, my house totally vacuumed, a fresh smoothy, a healthy omelet, and my mom is coming to stay the weekend. This has all been so helpful. I have a hard time getting out of bed, and my trips to the store have become very limited. I hope that there will be more positive changes now that I am past the 12 month mark. Wish us luck!

Puppy Love!

We are crazy! And we are crazy in love with our new puppy. We seriously never thought that we would ever be dog owners. It's that look on Kaiya's face! Our pup is 8 weeks and a pure bred "mini-pin". We have named her "Teepa". We are crate training her and she has it down after 4 days! We have had only one potty accident in the house. "Good Girl". I was looking for a project to work on while pregnant, and I guess this is what it turned into. She loves to cuddle and chew, chew, chew. She seriously love to be rocked in Kaiya's doll bed. They make a perfect pair.

Tenne & The Wolverine

Tennesee had the opportunity to take a shot on goal against the UVU Wolverine and win a FREE car wash during half time. He did such an awesome job, but no car wash. :(

Two Studs Going To School!

This rowdy bunch of boys are now back in school! We obviously have the "Wolverine Green" Spirit! Tennessee is now in 5th grade with Mrs. Nelson, and Easton is in 3rd grade with Mrs. Gourley. They are such big kids this year they are walking to and from school all by themselves! (Great exercise for them, and more time for Mom!)

Our Baby!

Our baby has now advanced from the size of a "blueberry" to the size of a "Kidney Bean". This little blueberry is causing a lot of tiredness, and sickness to mom. This is the one reason we haven't updated our blog for the past month. In this photo the baby is lying on it's back in the black hole. Check out the spine! Very cool. Neighbors and friends have been very sweet and have been providing dinners and play days for my kids. I am so glad the boys are back in school, because I am no more fun.

Kaiya in Pre-school!

Kaiya will officially start Pre-School, Tues., September 2nd. This was her at the open house. She already loves her teacher's Miss Holly and Mrs. Kathy. She is so excited to know how to write her name and practices every day.
