A Trip Down South!

We went to St. George for the weekend (jan.16-20th). It was so fun. Brent had to drive to Las Vegas for a soccer tournament, so I took advantage of his rental car and paid gas to drop me and the kids off to my friend Mandi's home. My sister in-law also lives in St. George and we found out that she was only 8 blocks away from Mandi's home. So we were able to visit with the both of them and have a great time. We sent Easton up to Logan with Grandpa Anderson and he got to play with his life long friend/cousin "Peyton". Mandi had just moved to St. George a few months ago and bought a home. We really appreciated her hospitality and letting us stay in her spare room. Mandi took us to Zion's Park, and Snow Canyon while we were there. We hiked every day and soaked in the sun as much as possible. It sure was nice to thaw out in 65 degree weather, and be out doors.

Soaking in the Sun and enjoying the warm sandstone!

Here is my most current "belly" photo! 2.5 more months to go! Mandi and I made quite the hiking pair. Me...pregnant, and she was on crutches (due to a foot surgery). Nothing stops Mandi...so it was funny to us to hear the comments each person we passed had to say. They were concerned, but we knew our abilities. Ha!

Check out this cave! This is one of the "lava" caves in Snow Canyon. We heard and saw bats inside and explored to the very back. Tenne has found his newest passion! He and Kaiya LOVED it. (the man by Mandi is her new husband "Jake". He was so great to be with. Mandi found a great catch!)

These are the type of parks you find in St. George. This was called "Slick Rock Park". There were two bolders here to practice climbing on. It was a lot of fun.
